We collect the following types of information about the user of the Site:

Information provided by the user

We collect on behalf of Hotels.com demographic information such as, but not limited to, age and gender when you complete a visual questionnaire or any other forms on the Site. This information is used to make your results more accurate.

We collect on behalf of Hotels.com personal information such as, but not limited to, name and email address when you register to use services promoted on the Site. We collect and own image preferences to our visual questionnaires.

If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence and/or collect information from such correspondence.

We may also conduct surveys or run contests via the Site during which similar information will be collected and used for research or as otherwise provided in this Policy, although you do not have to respond to such surveys or enter such contests.

Information collected automatically

We receive and store information which is transmitted automatically from your computer when you browse the Internet and use the Site.
